In the center of Stip, there is a facility that by its architecture reminiscent of medieval Islamic market. It's called Bezisten. The name is derived from the Turkish word which means: market. Read more

There is no accurate data for its construction, but presumably dating back to between the 16th and 17th centuries.

It was used as a market center for the exchange and sale of various goods. The Bezisten was destroyed by fire during the war between Austria and Turkey. The Bezisten is constructed of full stone. It has rectangular base and three allocations in height, of which the last is the dome. Inside there are three rooms and impressive arch, or dome.
